Privacy and cookies

Plungepedia (plungepedia.com) is published by Hanihen Limited, a company registered in Ireland ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics runs without cookies and we receive only aggregated, modelled data.
• Email. If you email us at hello@plungepedia.com we keep your message and address for as long as needed to reply and deal with your query.
• Affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, the network or retailer (for example Awin, Shopify, Amazon) may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

We do not run advertising, sell data, or use advertising cookies.

Legal basis and your rights

Analytics is processed on the basis of your consent. Email correspondence is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you. Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority (the ICO in the UK, the Data Protection Commission in Ireland). Data location and retention

Google Analytics data may be processed outside the UK and EU under Google's standard contractual clauses. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email correspondence is retained for up to two years.
