What to buy with it
- Our running-cost figures are estimates. A plug-in meter between the socket and the chiller gives you the real number. MECHEER plug-in energy monitor (£11.88 at Amazon UK, 4.5 stars from 5,400 ratings)
- Climbing out with cold feet over a high rim is where people slip. A non-slip step costs little. Crystals anti-slip bath step (£13.97 at Amazon UK, 4.6 stars from 578 ratings)
- Water care: a filter catches debris but does not sanitise, so budget for a treatment. Bio Ouster 3-in-1 weekly cold plunge treatment (£48.86 at Amazon UK, 4.5 stars from 543 ratings)
