Best cold plunge on Amazon UK 2026: ice baths and chillers to buy

Which Amazon UK ice baths and chillers are worth the money, from 120 search results: the tubs with a real rating record, and why cheap chillers are a gamble.

Products in this guide

In our search of Amazon UK on 23 September 2026, only 75 of the 120 results for eight ice bath and cold plunge searches were cold plunge tubs, chillers or tub-and-chiller kits; the other 45 were folding bathtubs, aquarium chillers and accessories. Of the ten priced tubs with 50 or more ratings and at least 4 stars, nine cost under £150, and 17 of the 21 Amazon chiller and kit listings priced between £329.99 and £489.99 had no ratings at all.

Updated 29 September 2026: a note on Lumi's company status added to the UK brands section.

Written by Aodhan, who has owned six cold plunges in three years. Amazon prices, ratings and listing details are from Amazon UK searches on 23 September 2026; catalogue prices are from each brand's own UK page, last checked on 5 October 2026. The picks

If you want Buy Why
The cheapest ice bath tub with a real rating record VEVOR Ice Bath Tub, 85 cm (£44.90 at Amazon UK) 4.5 stars from 359 ratings, the best average of any tub with over 150 ratings, sold by Amazon itself. The listing states 398 L, a lid and a multi-layer wall; the 90 cm version (£45.90 at Amazon UK) shares the ratings.
A tub you can add a chiller to later The Cold Pod, 440 L (£109.98 at Amazon UK) 4.4 stars from 381 ratings. The cheapest and most-rated of the three well-rated tubs that state chiller ports, and the only one from a catalogue brand. The listing states a 5 mm pearl foam wall.
The best star average LyfeFocus Cold Therapy Ice Bath Tub, 120 cm (£149.99 at Amazon UK) 4.7 stars from 131 ratings, the top average among tubs with 50 or more ratings. The listing mentions multi-layer insulation, eight support bars and a manufacturer warranty, but no capacity.
A chiller Kove Core chiller, £599, direct from Kove Not in our Amazon search, but the cheapest catalogue chiller stating both cooling (1,200 W, 695 W drawn) and a 24-month warranty.
A chiller, and it has to be Amazon AS ColdPlunge 1/3 HP chiller (£690.68 at Amazon UK) 4.3 stars from 161 ratings, the only standalone cold plunge chiller in our search with more than nine ratings. The listing states a one-year warranty but no cooling output in watts.

What eight searches actually return

We sorted all 120 results by what each listing describes, not by the words in its title.

What the listing is Listings
Ice bath and cold plunge tubs 44
Cold plunge chillers 24
Tub-and-chiller kits, and timber tubs with a chiller built in 7
Folding and inflatable bathtubs sold for hot or cold water 23
Aquarium and hydroponic chillers 5
Filters, ozone generators, ice moulds, mats, pumps and other extras 17

The bathtubs are the easy mistake. Eleven of the 23 have 50 or more ratings, but they are baths first: Inflatoast's and Nevife's both state 158 x 95 x 45 cm, where WAVYEASE's Pro ice bath pod states 80 cm across and 75 cm tall. Three sit on the line and we counted them as bathtubs: WAVYEASE's 80 x 66 cm folding tub (£39.99 at Amazon UK), a Simcat 80 x 65 cm tub (£39.99 at Amazon UK) and Zennest's 90 gallon tub are pod-sized, but sell themselves as bathtubs for hot or cold water, and none of the three mentions a lid in the text we recorded. Names in titles mislead too: a folding tub with "Lumi" in its title (£20.99 at Amazon UK) lists its brand as Supernic.

The tubs with a track record

Eleven tub listings had 50 or more ratings and at least 4 stars. Ten had a price, and nine of those cost under £150. The exception, AudaciaGo's XL (£586.36 at Amazon UK, 4.6 stars from 110 ratings), states an insulated lid with four clamps and chiller ports, but its title says 140 gallons and its bullets 216. For less money, Kove's Core tub (£199) states a 5 cm insulated drop-stitch wall and two years' warranty.

Amazon pools ratings across variations. Both VEVOR sizes carry 359 ratings and both LyfeFocus sizes 131. WAVYEASE's Pro Cold Plunge Tub (4.3 stars from 479 ratings) shows exactly the count on WAVYEASE's folding bathtub, and Zennest's chiller-ready 140 gallon tub (£115.30 at Amazon UK) shows the same 144 ratings as Zennest's 90 gallon folding bath.

Insulation is claimed in layers, not measured. Arctic Performance says 5 on its 400 L tub (£69.99 at Amazon UK, 4.4 stars from 106 ratings); Bubplay says 6 on its 105 gallon (about 397 litre) tub (£96.36 at Amazon UK), the most-rated listing in the search. Of the tubs sold on their own, only The Cold Pod ("5mm thick pearl foam") and Zennest ("4 mm foam + air gap") state a thickness; the tub in AS ColdPlunge's kit states "10 mm EPE insulation". Lumi's Pod Max Ultra (£89) states 10 mm foam panels in five layers, though with six months' warranty on the body.

Where the UK brands are

Two brands from our catalogue came up. The Cold Pod's 440 L tub is sold by New Heights Company, while the brand's mats come from a storefront called The Cold Pod-UK. Direct, its 440 L XL is £139.99, out of stock at our last check, with no published warranty.

Keico's KC Cryo Cube (£2,415.00 at Amazon UK) and 900 L KC Thermo-Wood (£2,250.00 at Amazon UK) have no ratings yet. Keico's own site sells the 470 L Cryo Cube for £2,100; on 23 September Amazon was dearer.

None of the twelve Amazon UK listings in our catalogue, including the Pod Max Ultra (Amazon UK) and MyoMaster's MyoIce (Amazon UK), appeared in our results; search for them by name.

If you are searching for Lumi, know the background. Lumi Therapy Ltd, the company that built the brand, entered administration on 29 August 2025, and the brand's own web shop has since been operated by Sno Solutions Ltd. Lumi's 200 most recent English Trustpilot reviews average 2.5 stars, well below the overall TrustScore of 3.8, with missing replies and stalling warranty claims among the common complaints, so read the "sold by" line on the listing to see who would handle a return.

The chillers: a price cluster with no track record

Twenty-one chillers and chiller kits sat between £329.99 and £489.99. Seventeen had no ratings; the other four had five, two, two and one. Nine carry the brand "Generic". Three from different sellers share almost word-for-word bullets at three prices (£348.99 at Amazon UK, £365.36 at Amazon UK, £399.62 at Amazon UK), and BAOSHISHAN lists the same title twice through the same shop at £399.99 at Amazon UK and £439.99 at Amazon UK.

Their numbers settle little. Four quote 600W and two 300W without saying whether that is heat removed or power drawn (one heads a bullet "600W Cooling", then calls it the compressor's). Seven state 1/3 HP. Five give about 53 gallons, roughly 200 litres, as the recommended water level, less than the 300 to 500 litres most pods in the search state as their capacity. One BAOSHISHAN listing is candid: about 12 hours to bring 79 gallons to 10C in a 10 to 15C room.

Catalogue chillers in the same class say what they are. The Pod Company's Pod Chiller (£499) states 1/3 HP, 280 W drawn, a UK plug and a year's warranty.

The AS ColdPlunge chiller in the picks has the only real record, yet its own bullet says it cools 79 gallons "to 12℉", below freezing. Its kit with a 148 gallon tub costs £2,407.32 at Amazon UK (4.2 stars from 27 ratings); Kove's Arctic with the Core chiller is £749, with a labelled 1,200 W and 24 months.

Skip the aquarium chillers. Their own titles say "30L" and "120W" (BAOSHISHAN, £85.99 at Amazon UK) or "160L" (serebrant, £249.00 at Amazon UK), and the serebrant states a range of 18 to 26C. Our chiller guide compares the chillers from UK brands in our catalogue.

Buying a cold plunge on Amazon: what to check

  • The seller. The "sold by" line decides who handles a return. Eight of the 120 listings were sold by Amazon US and three by Amazon EU; read the returns window before you pay.
  • Who holds the warranty. AS ColdPlunge and PlungeFit (£796.03 at Amazon UK) state one year; none of the 21 cheaper chillers and kits mentioned one in the text we recorded. Ask the seller in writing.
  • The plug. None of those 21 mentioned a plug or voltage; SereneLife's chiller states 220V/50Hz or 110V/60Hz. You want a UK three-pin plug, not an adapter.
  • The fittings. Five tubs state 1/2 inch ports and SereneLife's oval tub 20 mm (G1/2, DN15). Match the chiller's hoses to the tub before buying both.
  • The weak points. On an inflatable: the top ring, the seams and the drain tap, covered in our inflatable guide from our reading of 60 Amazon UK reviews of three pods. Fill it and check the tap the day it arrives.

For the filters, ozone generators and ice moulds in the rest of the results, see our accessories guide.

How we chose

On 23 September 2026 we searched Amazon UK for "ice bath tub", "cold plunge tub", "inflatable ice bath", "portable ice bath", "ice bath with chiller", "cold plunge chiller", "ice bath chiller" and "stock tank ice bath", and recorded 120 listings with price, list price, stars, rating count, seller and the opening of each feature bullet. Tub picks needed at least 50 ratings and a 4 star average, then were compared on price, stated capacity, insulation, lid, chiller ports and warranty; chillers on rating record, stated cooling and warranty, with catalogue products judged on our catalogue figures. We have not tested these products ourselves, and we have not read the reviews behind these ratings. More on how we check the data.

Before the first plunge, read the safety guide: cold water raises heart rate and blood pressure sharply.

Frequently asked questions

Are Amazon ice baths any good?

The well-rated ones are a cheap first tub with a real rating record behind them, though we have not tested them. In our search of Amazon UK on 23 September 2026, 11 ice bath listings had 50 or more ratings and an average of at least 4 stars, and nine of the ten with a price cost under £150. VEVOR's 85 cm tub (£44.90 at Amazon UK, 4.5 stars from 359 ratings) is sold by Amazon itself. Most are inflatable or pole-framed pods, so check the top ring, the seams and the drain tap the day one arrives.

Is a cheap Amazon cold plunge chiller worth it?

Not on the evidence the listings give you. In our search of Amazon UK on 23 September 2026, 21 Amazon listings for chillers and chiller kits were priced between £329.99 and £489.99: 17 had no ratings and the other four had 10 between them. None mentioned a warranty in the listing text we recorded, and none of the six quoting 600W or 300W clearly separated cooling capacity from power drawn. Kove's Core chiller (£599) states 1,200 W of cooling, 695 W drawn and a 24-month warranty.

Which ice bath on Amazon UK has the best reviews?

By star average among tubs with 50 or more ratings, the LyfeFocus 120 cm tub (4.7 stars from 131 ratings) led our search of Amazon UK on 23 September 2026. By number of ratings, the Bubplay XL 105 gallon tub (4.3 stars from 674 ratings) led all 120 listings. Several tubs show exactly the same rating count as another size, or even as a different product, so check which item the ratings belong to.

Can you buy a UK brand ice bath on Amazon?

Yes. The Cold Pod's 440 litre tub (£109.98 at Amazon UK) and two Keico thermowood tubs came up in our search of Amazon UK on 23 September 2026. Lumi and MyoMaster also sell on Amazon UK, but none of the 12 Amazon listings recorded in our catalogue, Lumi's Pod Max Ultra and MyoMaster's MyoIce among them, appeared in any of our eight searches, so search for them by name.

Cold water immersion places real stress on the heart and circulation. Anyone with a cardiovascular condition, high blood pressure, a history of arrhythmia, or who is pregnant should speak to a doctor before using a cold plunge. Never plunge alone. Start with short sessions at mild temperatures and progress gradually. Read the full safety guide.
